Successful conclusion: Summary of the 3rd workshop
With a focus on sustainable mobility design, the participants gathered at the Novotel Wien Hauptbahnhof to exchange ideas and explore new paths together in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The format of the workshop was a World Café, which opened up the space for in-depth discussions in three thematic groups:
- The first group was dedicated to traffic avoidance in passenger transportation. The focus here was on key questions: Which research topics could promote traffic avoidance in passenger transport? And what practical priorities should be set by 2030 in order to develop effective solutions?
- The second group focused on traffic avoidance in freight transport. The discussion revolved around similar questions: Which research questions are crucial to improve traffic avoidance in freight transport? And what strategic priorities should be set in order to achieve significant progress by 2030?
- The third group dealt with the creation of a sustainable innovation network for traffic avoidance. Questions such as: Which models are particularly promising for building such a network? And how can individuals and organizations contribute to promoting smart traffic avoidance within this network?
